We have record attendance at this years meeting. Please take a few moments to review these frequently asked questions so you can better plan your trip and enjoy the conference!

Q: Where and when is the meeting taking place?

A: The meeting begins on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 with the MacFarland Seminar and the entire meeting ends on Sunday, July 27th. The meeting will be held at the Chicago Downtown Marriott, in the heart of downtown Chicago, on Michigan Avenue. All of the events will be held at the hotel.

Q: How can I register for the meeting and what does it cost?

A: Registration for the meetingcan be done online, by mail or fax. You can even call the AER office to register over the phone with a MasterCard or Visa. Be sure to visit our Registion page for prices and cut-off dates.

Q:  I'm not a member of AER. If I join at the same time I register for the meeting, will I qualify for member rates?

A: Absolutely! You can join over the phone or by completing a membership application online and emailing it to the AER Office. Upon completion of the membership application process, you will receive your new member letter along with your AER Member number. Just mention that you are joining AER on the registration form!

Q: In the past, it's cost me extra to attend Division day activities. Is that the same this year?

A: New for the 2008 International Conference, all division day activities are included in the registration fee! Division day is taking place on Wednesday, July 23rd.

Q: Do I have to be a member of a division to go to division day?

A: Not at all. It's a great opportunity to learn more about a particular division and meet everyone. You can join a division at any point during your current membership year.

Q: Is the MacFarland Seminar included in my conference registration fee?

A: No, it's a separate fee. We do offer a special combined conference and seminar rate that saves you money.

Q:  Do I have to pay a separate fee to attend the Orientation & Mobility Conference within a Conference?

A: Not at all, it's all included. You can attend any programming during the 4 1/2 days of programming, including the O&M programming.

Q: I have a dog guide. Do you have information about emergency vet services or a vet close by?
