Eligibility Criteria:  Candidates must be legally blind with 20/200 or less visual acuity.   The best definition of legal blindness is a visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the best corrected eye and or a visual field of 20° or less and are studying for a career in the field of services to persons who are blind or visually impaired.

Frequency Students May Apply:  N/A  

Application Deadline:  March 15 of the even numbered years

Scholarship Awarded:  Every even numbered year

Application Procedure:   Applicants must provide a completed William and Dorothy Ferrell Scholarship Application with corresponding documentation prior to the deadline of February 15.
