Physical Activity and Recreation Division

The division’s mission is to facilitate communication and collaboration between professionals who are working to help those who are blind and visually impaired to achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life.

Physical activity and recreation professionals will benefit from collaborating with other specialists, and learning more about how to enhance teaching and accessibility. Through these collaborations, this Division will raise awareness of the importance of physical activity and recreation and help influence behaviors that lead to active and healthy lifestyles.
