Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Daily management of a small 7 staff plus multiple contractors, vision rehabilitation agency.
- Managing daily operations of a non-profit serving 29 counties of Southeast Georgia with main concerns in a 4-county area.
- Working directly with a 13-member Board of Directors.
- Working with Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, AER accreditation, SCCB and the Veteran’s Administration clients.
- Creating a working strategic plan intent on growing mission and fundraising.
- Working within the community, focusing on increasing community awareness.
- Partnering with the Chamber of Commerce, United Way and other local entities is required.
- Grant writing, public speaking on vision-based mission delivery is a must.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years experience in non-profit management. Working knowledge of non-profit accounting procedures, HR, and personnel direct supervision. Working knowledge of both mission and fundraising is mandatory. Social Work or Vision field experience considered a plus.
