Jessie Grober

Chair of Council of Chapter Presidents

Jessie Grober the current Chapter President of the Wisconsin AER. She has served on the WAER board as secretary, member at large, and this is her second time through the cycle of being President. She has served as the chair of Wisconsin’s Awards and Scholarship Committee since joining the board, as well as being the Conference Chair when she is serving the Past President role. She is also active on Wisconsin’s Conference Planning Committee.  Jessie an Education Consultant and Short Course Instructor at the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Before her current job, she was a special education teacher for 7 years. She taught in a variety of settings during that time and worked with learners with all different abilities. During her time as a special education teacher she earned her masters degree in Administration and Curriculum and Instruction, as well as Teaching the Visually Impaired. After receiving her degree in teaching the visually impaired she was a TVI in Green Bay Wisconsin for 4 years.
