Statement of Purpose
The Itinerant Personnel Interest Group supports itinerant vision professionals, by providing resources, sharing ideas, and making connections with others in similar roles across a variety of disciplines (TSVI, COMS, VRT).
Statement of Goals and Objectives
Goal 1: Define the itinerant model of service delivery, including its unique challenges and benefits
Goal 2: Implement strategies to increase engagement in the Interest Group, such as communicating specific volunteer opportunities, and facilitating Interest Group meet-ups at AER chapter conferences.
Goal 3: Develop a means of identifying and recognizing an outstanding Itinerant professional through the receipt of an award at the Bi-Annual International AER conference beginning in 2026
