Let’s celebrate, learn, and take action! The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was enacted November 29, 1975. This year, we come together to celebrate 50 years of progress and to discuss current and proposed changes at the U.S. Department of Education that may impact essential rights, protections, and services for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with visual impairments, deafblindness, and other disabilities. Everyone is welcome! We invite families, teachers, teachers in training, self-advocates, administrators, friends, and members of the media!
