AER Resolutions
AER resolutions
Resolutions are one of the primary ways AER members shape the direction of the Association and the profession. Through the resolutions process, members bring forward ideas, concerns, and priorities that guide advocacy, professional practice, and organizational focus.
All members are encouraged to participate by submitting resolutions, reviewing proposals, engaging in discussion, and voting.

Resolution Process
Conference Process
A resolutions discussion session will be held during the AER International Conference to allow members to review and discuss proposed resolutions and amendments prior to the General Business Meeting.
At the General Business Meeting on July 31, 2026, resolutions and amendments will be formally presented.
Voting will not take place on the floor. Electronic voting will open immediately following the Business Meeting and remain open through August 10, 2026. This approach ensures all members have the opportunity to review and participate in the voting process.
